PRODUCT INSPECTION: PRE-, DURING AND POST-MANUFACTURE
LUIS’s quality policy is built on three pillars: Our products are inspected during each individual manufacturing process, and additionally during pre-manufacture and once the final product is complete. Any faults are seamlessly detected and recorded, allowing us to refine our manufacturing procedures and production designs even further. The main benefit: we test every single product, not just random samples. This has been our quality assurance procedure since 2016 – and our success in terms of error rate and customer satisfaction speaks for itself. Our quality management has been independently certified by DEKRA under the ISO 9001 standard since 2011.

TESTS FOR ALL RELEVANT STRESS FACTORS
Our products must withstand numerous stress factors in daily operation. Trucks, utility vehicles, buses and their drivers have to operate under challenging conditions. In addition to constant stress, our professional, comprehensive tests focus mainly on external factors..

A number of specific tests are a fixed part of our extensive quality inspection process: the IP Class Test (DIN ISO 60529:2014), the Vibration Resistance Test (DIN ISO 16750-3:2012), the Shock Resistance Test (DIN ISO 16750-3:2012) and the Climatic Load Test (DIN ISO 16750-4:2008). This is how we ensure the reliable, flawless functionality of our products, including on uneven roads, in case of shock or impact and under extreme weather conditions such as frost, heat and rain. VISUAL AND FUNCTIONAL INSPECTION OF EACH INDIVIDUAL ITEM
Our manufacturing processes leave nothing to chance. We already inspect each and every component for flaws when taking delivery of new materials. Every product is thoroughly inspected, even when assembling and installing surface mount technology. But our quality assurance goes even further. We perform additional tests prior to shipping products to our customers – specifically, we carry out visual inspections and functional and performance testing. Safety is essential, and this is how we ensure it – one piece at a time.

Additionally, we develop and perform tests in accordance with our customers’ specific requirements. We will discuss the test series relevant to your requirements and circumstances and perform these tests transparently and systematically.

24 HOURS LONG-TERM TESTS (UNDER MIL STD)
Our expertise covers around-the-clock long-term tests. For these types of tests, we begin with a sample of 50%, which is then immediately increased to 100% if the test reveals even the smallest irregularity. An exact test log documents the product’s test performance. The MIL standard is a US military standard. Tests under this standard confirm outstanding precision.

E-MARK: INDISPENSABLE FOR UTILITY VEHICLES
The E-Mark certification is a further integral part of LUIS Technology’s quality policy. An E-Mark certification is granted for accessories that have been tested to ensure they meet all EU legal requirements in respect of electromagnetic compliance (EMC).
